02 / NOOD COFFEE

The warmth of a coffee cart.
Across every touchpoint.

Nood Coffee is personal to me. I know the experience from both sides of the counter—as a designer shaping the brand and a barista serving guests at busy events.

01 / CONTEXT

Designing beyond the counter.

A mobile coffee cart creates an immediate, personal connection. The digital experience needs to carry that feeling into practical tasks: finding the menu, placing an order, understanding rewards, and booking an event.

02 / APPROACH

Close to the people using it.

The work drew on competitive analysis, informal interviews, and direct customer feedback. My hands-on experience serving coffee added operational context, while customer input helped keep the design grounded in needs beyond my own perspective.

03 / WEBSITE DESIGN

From first impression to a reason to book.

The homepage introduces the service, its Chicago coverage, and a direct quote request alongside photography of the people behind the cart. Further down, client logos and distinct event categories help visitors connect the service to their own occasion. The “Why Nood” section brings service details and the owners’ story into the same journey. My work also covers messaging and SEO fundamentals, using direct customer-source feedback to understand how people discover Nood and what helps them move toward an inquiry.

04 / MENU EXPERIENCE

Make the menu part of the experience.

The menu opens with a bold statement and a close-up product photograph. A lighter section follows with familiar espresso drinks and a visual lineup of specialties. The contrast gives the page a clear rhythm, moving from the brand’s personality into the drinks themselves.

05 / MOBILE PRODUCT

Make the everyday tasks feel easy.

These app screens follow the journey from sign-in to finding a drink. The home screen surfaces loyalty points and previous orders, while the menu supports search and category browsing. Drink details lead into customization, with a consistent visual language across the flow.

06 / REFLECTION

Service is an interaction, too.

Working across brand, digital experience, and the coffee counter gives me a useful perspective on the small decisions that shape how a customer feels. The work brings those considerations into the brand, website, and app designs.

THE IDEA I CARRY FORWARD

The details of a digital experience should feel as considered as the service behind it.
